Tangjiawan Scenic Area is developed and constructed by Hengwei Tangjiawan Scenic Area Development Co., Ltd. in Chengde County, with a planned area of 1106.37 hectares, including 27.71 hectares of water area. The scenic area is the largest Danxia landform valley in the Yanshan Mountain area. There are more than 20 Danxia landscapes with different shapes and the Tianmen Lake surrounded by green mountains.

It has developed into a large-scale comprehensive tourism and vacation destination integrating sightseeing, catering and entertainment, health care and elderly care, leisure, outdoor sports, parent-child entertainment and agricultural activities. Tangjiawan Scenic Area has been listed as a key project in Hebei Province for five consecutive years, and has successively been rated as a key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Chengde City, a demonstration unit of sports industry in Hebei Province, and a demonstration unit of leisure fishery in Hebei Province.

Tangtang Amusement Park covers an area of 15,000 square meters, it is an interactive experience park that integrates various functions such as parent-child amusement, team building and viewing. There are nine large-scale entertainment projects and children's trampolines, swings, climbing castles, pet parks, internet celebrity swing bridges, etc.

Wangfu hot spring covers an area of 10000 square meters, mainly including shower area, dressing area, cafeteria (which can accommodate 280 people at the same time), barrel bath area, sweat steaming area, outdoor hot spring area and 42 bath ponds, it can accommodate 800 people at the same time. Hot springs have good therapeutic and health effects on women's beauty, the elderly's longevity, rheumatism and bone diseases.

Yunwan Holiday Hotel has a total construction area of 12,000 square meters, 130 guest rooms, and can accommodate 300 people. There are catering, luxury hot spring pond, recreation center and swimming pool.

Kuandian Town has a total construction area of 37600 square meters, including 12000 square meters of Commerce area and 574 rooms，the architectural style is a new Chinese style commercial town. There are commercial street, snack street, shopping center and hotels.

The highest part of Tianmen Mountain is 677 meters above sea level, and the mountain gates on both sides are 20 meters high and 5 meters wide. When you climb Tianmen Mountain, you can have a close view of the highest peak of Tangjiawan scenic area - the General peak with an altitude of 1100 meters, there are Shanrong cultural relics on the top of the peak about 3ooo years history.

There are more than 20 local characteristic home stay courtyards , which can accommodate more than 120 people at the same time, 2 meeting rooms (one meeting room for 30 people and one meeting room for 80 people), and 1 Characteristic catering, which can receive 180 tourists at the same time.

Tianmen Lake was built in 1970, with a storage capacity of 220,678m³ and a water area of 27.71 hectares. It is the most attractive landscape in Tangjiawan Scenic Area. Tianmen Lake has set up many special amusement projects such as barbecue boats, electric boats, and water motorboats.

Tianmen Lake Park is a beautiful lake park integrating natural and cultural landscape. The park is covered with green grass, it is an excellent place for outdoor activities and tent camping.

It is a high mountain canyon rafting project, the total length of the project is 1.8km with a drop of 110m. There are 2 short-distance tunnels, 9 large paddling pools, more than 20 rapid bends and torrents.

The total length of Cool Valley is only 0.5km, there are waterfalls and pools in the valley. The average temperature in summer is 25°C, which makes the valley especially cool in summer.

Camel Peak is about 560 meters above sea level, as one of the most typical peaks of Tangjiawan Danxia landform, it is also a good place to watch the magnificent scenery of Tangjiawan.

Guancai Stone is 580 meters above sea level, it is the highest viewing platform in the central area of the scenic spot and the best place to watch Tianmen Lake.

The zipline is divided into two sections: the first section is from the the entrance of the "Tianmen Mountain" scenic spot to the foot of the "Guancai Stone"; the second section is from "Blessing Stone" mountainside and turn back the entrance of the "Tianmen Mountain" scenic spot. On the way, you can see the entire Tianmen Lake Park and the surrounding peculiar Danxia scenery.

Rock climbing downhill is the ultimate challenge of the scenic spot, the project can satisfy people's desire to return to nature and seek stimulation, you and challenge nature and self from it.

The BBQ camp covers an area of 500 square meters, the camp place is flat and open, close to mountains and rivers, and there are all kinds of all kinds of water and electricity infrastructure.
